After almost seven years of testing all kinds of software… I am still amazed by how much more prominence functional testing receives over nonfunctional testing.

Even though the most severe bugs, failures and outages will stem from nonfunctional causes. A memory leak will impact all customers. A slow db query will impact all customers. Your oversized hardware will impact your bottom line.

So I decided to change that. Hence the blog on and around performance testing.
